About Our Pastor

Adrian Ewings is a man who has been dramatically transformed by Jesus Christ. Growing up in a Christian home Adrian had a relationship with Jesus Christ at a young age. At age 14 however, a vacation to visit family in North Carolina quickly lead Adrian down a different path. Influenced by his cousins Adrian was soon introduced to Alcohol and Marijuana. By age 17, Adrian was an alcoholic which soon sent him down a route of dealing Weed and Crack Cocaine. Though alcoholism and drug dealing was leading his life, God had a different plan
At age 20 God lead both Adrian and Le Dedra to a church service held at Faith Tabernacle where they committed their lives to the Lord together. Months later they married and began their family. Devoting him self to study scripture, about a year and a half later Adrian became a licensed minister. By this time, God had developed a heart to reach youth in Adrian and he was soon asked to become the Youth President of the San Diego C.O.G.I.C. Region. Before long, God led him and his family to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he excelled in the things of God while studying under great men like Bishop Charles Blake.

Two years later God led Adrian and his family back to San Diego, where he and his wife established the renowned dance group Steps of Praise which had an emphasis on youth discipleship. For years God opened doors for this dance ministry to tour with gospel greats such as Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond and many others. While leading this team, Adrian’s father began to prepare him to become the pastor of his church Faith Tabernacle. By 2005 Adrian’s father had gone on to be with the Lord, placing Adrian in a new position as the Pastor of Faith Tabernacle.
Since becoming a Pastor, the church has undergone a dramatic makeover of remodeling and redesigning with the help of Ray Bentley, Senior Pastor of Maranatha Church. God has also given Adrian a vision of reaching, teaching and sending out all members of the church to be used by Christ
